When traveling you always try to spend as little as possible.
People always say that Japan as expensive to travel to.
I don't think Japan is very expensive, it all depends on what you choose to pay for.

In this blog and Youtube video I tell you some budget travel Japan tips.

For more Japan talk videos, see my playlist.

The plane ticket is the biggest expense, but you can save a lot on this
when you book at the right time with the right operator.
Hotels cost around the same as in The Netherlands.
It really makes a difference if you look all the things by your self instead of with
an travel agency.

We always fly with KLM, even when we fly inside Europe.
We find it a pleasant operator and always have had good experience with it.
Personally I also like to be able to communicate in my own language with the
flight staff.
Twice a year KLM has world deal weeks and we always book in this period.

How do you prefer to book your vacations?
As a set with an travel agency or all by yourself?
