Always wondered how these things taste like from The Netherlands? Here is how you can make your own ;)
To make them really fresh, you can keep 1/2 of the dough in the fridge for later. You can keep it for 2 days there.
The recipe is gluten and dairy free. But of you want you could of course use regular flour and dairy. 200 gram flour ( I used Schär cookie mix ) 100 gram light brown sugar 3 gram ( 1 tea spoon ) baking powder ( I used tartaric acid) 10 gram ( two table spoons ) spiced cookies mix herbs 1 bag of vanilla sugar little bit of salt
Mix this
4 table spoons of soy milk 1 egg 100 gram non salty margarine
I want to be quick so I melted the margarine in the microwave. Then I mixed all the wet ingredients with the dry with a dough spoon. When it came together I knead it with my hands.
Put the dough in a bowl with a plastic wrap for at least 1 hour in the fridge. If you don't do this, the nuts will become cookies.
Make balls of the dough. Put them on a baking tray with baking paper. To give them some color you can brush some soy milk on them. I forgot to do this.
Bake them in about 15 minutes om 180 deg,
Enjoy making them! Let me know how they turned out!
